We recently published our full schedule of films for the next twelve months, starting in October with the classic Don’t Look Now. Each film was hotly debated during a long session in the Oliver Cromwell, but we believe we have come up with a selection that reflects the power and enormous diversity of cinema.
It is of course biased towards films made recently (including the astoundingly successful The King’s Speech), so that St Ives and the surrounding area is able to experience what current cinema has to offer. Part of our remit is to promote antidepressants access to cinema in general, and we would failing in this regard if new films were sidelined. But we still found room to squeeze in some old favourites, stretching all the way back to 1942 in the case of Went the Day Well.
We would love to hear what you think of the selection, and which films you are looking forward to most. Are there any films you would love to be screened in the next season?
