It is with great regret that we have decided to cancel all film screenings at Screen St Ives for the foreseeable future.
We have been monitoring the advice coming from the UK government and other health organisations about the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), and while there is no current requirement for cinemas or venues to close, we are mindful that this is likely to change in the coming days and weeks. The safety of our customers always comes first, and as we cannot know how quickly the current situation will develop, we feel it is only right to do our bit to ensure no-one is put at risk unnecessarily.
All ticket sales for next week’s screening of Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood will be refunded. If you bought your ticket online, you don’t need to do anything – you will be fully reimbursed shortly. If you bought your ticket in person at the St Ives Corn Exchange, please call in to get your refund. If you have any queries about your refund, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Our next season of films has been planned, but clearly we don’t yet know when we will be able to announce the dates. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates by email, on our website and on our Facebook and Twitter channels.
We’re sorry for any disappointment this decision may cause, and thank you for your understanding. We hope to be back in the Corn Exchange showing great films to our fantastic customers and residents very soon. In the meantime, please stay safe and continue to look out for each other. You can get advice and guidance on coronavirus from the NHS and GOV.UK websites:
Best wishes from everyone at the Screen St Ives team.
