Screen St Ives is the community cinema for the town based at the St Ives Corn Exchange. It was founded in 2011 by ACE – Friends of St Ives Corn Exchange, to enable the screening of films for the benefit of the whole community.
Films are screened on the first and third Thursday of each month. Doors open at 6.30pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. Refreshments are available from The Riverport Café Bar upstairs before the screening.
Facilities include: a friendly welcome; disabled toilet; lift; nearby parking; licensed bar; easy access from the guided busway.
Our programme covers a wide variety of films, with the aim of promoting access to cinema, encouraging interest in film as an art form, and fostering a stronger sense of community within St Ives and the surrounding area.
All money raised by Screen St Ives goes towards the purchase of dedicated screening equipment for the Corn Exchange, to allow regular or one-off film events to take place in the town centre.
